Innovative Collaboration with Landwehr from Versmold

A plastics processing company and a manufacturer of smoking systems for the food industry – how do these two worlds fit together?

In our video, application engineer Sven Ebling talks about our collaboration with Landwehr Service GmbH from Versmold. Together we thought outside the box and repurposed a brewing chamber: We don't use the system for processing sausage, but for the so-called conditioning of our plastic parts. This process is used for hygroscopic plastics, for example polyamides.

With the Landwehr conditioning system, we were able to increase our throughput, reduce energy consumption, and significantly reduce water consumption – a valuable piece of the puzzle in our sustainability initiative.
